Coach’s Kickoff: Monday, August 26, at 6:30 p.m.
- Location: The Community House – Kettering Hall
- Includes equipment distribution, important league updates, and a Q&A session.
Coach Training: All sessions located @ Timber Trails Park***

- U5/U6 Coach Certification – Sunday, August 24, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. ***location TBD
- U5/U6 Coach Certification – Sunday, August 31, 8 a.m. to 10 am
- U7/U8 Coach Certification – Saturday, August 30, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- U7/U8 Coach Certification – Sunday, August 31, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- U9 and Older Coach Training – Sunday, August 31, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Coach Clinic w/ Mike Higgins: Date & Time TBD
- One hour clinic designed to supplement the U6-U8 volunteer youth coaches of AYSO Region 210. Led by Michael Wiggins, Head Soccer Coach at Hinsdale Central.
- Optional, but HIGHLY recommended!
Coach Training
- Complete online training with AYSOU through eTrainU, and then can get certified in-person. This is the optimal path, doing BOTH the online AND in-person.
- AYSO 300, our neighboring region has invited AYSO 210 to go to in-person coach training. Division-specific dater and time options shown above.

Reminders
- Background Checks – Required for all coaches; please complete ASAP.
- Safe Haven, Concussion & SafeSport Training – Must be completed in eTrainU before the season begins.
- Coaching support – Don’t worry about planning everything! The AYSO Coaching Manuals have complete practice plans all ready for you!
- Professional Coaches – U9 and up teams will be supported by professional coaches; more details to follow once practice schedules are finalized.
